The land for sale has an area of 13’139 Square metres. It is located at the west bank of Arachthos River, at the north entrance of Arta town.
The land was originally used for agriculture and today has over 700 orange and mandarin trees of over 100 years of age.

Arta is a town initially built in 625 bc, and has a rich historical heritage. The city was known in ancient times as Amvrakia. Arta is known for the medieval bridge over the Arachthos River. The Old Stone Bridge of Arta was built on the 17th century and maybe it is the first of that kind in the area. Arta is also known for its ancient sites including its well-preserved 13th-century castle and the many Byzantine churches (over 40 churches of different architectures exist in the area).

Arta is only 40 kms from Ionian coastal area that starts from Preveza and ends after 60 kms to Parga.
Arta is very close to a beautiful scenery of Amvrakikos bay, to three Lagoonsin the area, as well as to a Wetlands National Park. Not far from Arta, on the west, are wonderful lagoons and the Ionian Sea.

Arta is the so called “entrance” to the very beautiful mountainous area of Epirus offering a variety of sports including mountaineering, skiing and trekking.
Arta is very close to the ruins of ancient Nikopolis, the second largest Roman city after Rome.
Arta lies in a fruitful agricultural region with products such as citrus fruits, ciwi, ouzo, tsipouro, olives and olive oil.
The population of Arta city is about 30’000. The Arta municipality counts today about 50’000 people.
